Dico Dave is working to get my caR back on track. Pretty good progress so far. Here's the first three vlogs that are entertaining to watch.

I found a nice B18C.
I'd rather it stay #s matching, but I bought this car to enjoy. There's a lot of risk in running a car on the track especially at a competitive level and I'm ok with that. I screwed up and now I'm paying for it. If/ when I sell it, I can only hope the next owner will use the car too.
I'm going to keep the block. It will go in storage with all of the original parts that I've taken off for the track parts.

Is that rather beat up valve cover on your newly acquired B18C a genuine JUN cover? I haven't seen one of those for ages!

I didn't inspect it very closely, but I think it's a rattle can replica done by the PO.

Thanks. That's the original paint except the front fascia. It was repainted for the original owner because someone damaged it stealing the A badge.

YW. Yes I bought a used one from IPG. I'm pretty sure he just reused the OE bolts. I will ask though...
