RealTime Collection Hall Opening Night« » Reply  Edit

On July 13, Peter Cunningham debuted the RealTime Collection Hall to a small group. The attendees varied from Honda/HPD employees to other factions of the Honda world. Food and drinks were provided via Poco Loco. The Collection Hall is not open to the public currently.

During a quick speech, Peter did want to thank the many people who have helped with this. There are many in here who have played a role -- you know who you are. Also, thank you from myself as well.

There are professional articles out there that discuss the opening with real photos. (Here is Tyson Hugie's write-up: https://drivetofive.wordpress....onsin/). Given my "role" in this, I let the pros do their thing. However, here are a few photos for us to enjoy.

Peter on the mezzanine thanking everyone for attending.

View from the mezzanine. The shelves will be filled soon.

Entrance into the hall after going through the parts counter room, which included a mint 1981 Accord 5 spd, Honda T360, and a Honda Vamos.

The floor logo by the parts counter.

3 absolutely amazing Type-Rs along with a Civic Si on the right.

Monaco Blue NSX.

The hall with the lights out, sans the replica AHM display.

...

Hope you enjoyed these! More to come.

I remember that PY ITR from Expo 14. I'm assuming it's the same one in Road & Track.

Thanks for sharing Jay

Would love to know more about the MR ITR and how he acquired it. Does he have plans to add a black ITR to the collection?

Wicked awesome. I know Peter has been collecting Honda's for years. It is pretty cool to see the collection all together. I know several in here have helped Peter with the purchasing along the way.

He has a white 92 or 93 GS-R too! I sometimes feel those are harder to find in good condition than 97 ITRs!

That GS-R was there too.

These cars will be on the shelves in the future.

Less than 10,000 miles on it though.

For those asking about the MR ITR...

The card is correct, except it's a 96-spec. The updated card will fix that. Enjoy the story, it's kind of awesome.

Honda R&D and was tested at the Nordschleife? The only thing to top that resume would be a photo of it on the ring... Wicked awesome.
